Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2026

TideInCal ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to provide the service:

We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.

3. Cookies and Session Data

We use a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you logged in between visits. This cookie contains no personal information, only an encrypted session identifier. It expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity.

We also set a limited first-party campaign-attribution cookie when you arrive through an approved TideInCal marketing link that includes campaign parameters (for example source, medium, campaign, and content). That signed, HTTP-only cookie lasts up to 30 days and stores a random anonymous journey identifier, sanitized campaign identifiers, and timestamps so we can measure the steps from landing through purchase. It does not store your name, email, IP address, user-agent string, precise location, or browsing history from other sites.

This implementation does not add a third-party advertising pixel. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics advertising tags, or similar third-party trackers for this measurement.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

5. Data Retention

Our campaign-funnel measurement stays with TideInCal and is limited to understanding our own acquisition flow; it does not use advertising cookies, fingerprinting, session replay, or third-party analytics. Anonymous funnel events expire after 90 days. Authenticated purchase records follow our financial and operational retention requirements.

We retain your account and purchase records for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records).

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within 14 days.

7. Children

TideInCal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
