By accessing or using TideInCal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
TideInCal provides downloadable calendar files (.ics format) containing tide time data for selected coastal locations. Files are compatible with Apple Calendar and similar applications that support the iCalendar standard.
Tide times provided through TideInCal are sourced from publicly available tidal prediction data and are intended for informational and planning purposes only. They are not a substitute for official government-published tide tables or real-time marine data.
Do not rely on TideInCal data for navigation, offshore passage planning, or any safety-critical decision. Ocean conditions are affected by weather, storm surge, atmospheric pressure, and other factors not captured in predicted tide times. Always consult official sources and exercise appropriate caution on the water.
TideInCal makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of the tide data provided. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your reliance on this data.
One-time purchases: Single-station downloads are delivered immediately after payment. Because the file is provided upon purchase, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued once the file has been generated or downloaded.
Pro subscriptions: Pro plans are billed annually. Your subscription will automatically renew each year at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account page by clicking "Manage Subscription." Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your login with others. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

All software, design, copy, and branding on TideInCal are the property of TideInCal and may not be reproduced or used without permission. Tide time data is derived from publicly available tidal prediction information.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TideInCal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant purchase.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
